Wanda Jones, 62, of Murphy passed away Monday, May 6, 2013. She was a native of Cherokee County and had attended Murphy High School. She was a homemaker.

She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Burrell Ellberry. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby, Frank, Luke, and Billy; a sister, Edna Lee; and two grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Christine Martin of Murphy; a son, Todd Martin of Murphy; two brothers, Thomas Roberson and Jack Roberson both of Murphy; and six grandchildren and a step-grandson.

A memorial service was held at 3:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2013 at Wilscott Baptist Church.
