Arturo Hernandez, 26, of Murphy, formerly of Mexico, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was a laborer and of the Catholic faith.

He was the son of Moicec Hernandez and the late Lina Maria Leyva Hernandez.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are a sister, Esperanza Hernandez; and three brothers, Dionisio, Alvaro, and Felix Hernandez.

A funeral service will be held at a later date in Mexico.
