Leveda Ann Smith, 53, of Forest Park, GA, formerly of Polk County, TN, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Polk County, but had lived in Forest Park for most of her life. She was the daughter of Cecil and Pauline Bell Postelle of Liberty, NC. She was a school bus driver for 15 years for the Clayton County, GA Board of Education. Her hobbies included playing softball and bowling. She loved her family and friends but particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Logan.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 38 years, Gary Smith; one daughter, Tisha Smith of Cumming, GA; one son, Stacy Smith of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Charlyne Kimsey of Liberty; two brothers, Terrell Postelle of Liberty and Jimmy Postelle of McCaysville, GA; and a grandson, Logan Smith.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 3 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Allen Harris officiating.

The family received friends from 6-8 Saturday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy.

In lieu of flowers, Leveda requested memorials be made to the Logan Smith Educational Trust Fund, c/o Wachovia Bank, 1729 Buford Highway, Cumming, GA 30041.
