Elizabeth Hill, 86, of Murphy died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her residence.  A native of Muscatine, IA, she had lived in Seaford, DE and West Palm Beach, FL most of her life before moving to Murphy in 2004.  She was a dental hygienist and teacher’s aid before her retirement.  She was a member of the Senior Circle in Blue Ridge, GA and was of the Methodist faith.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Verda Grace Mentink Lock and the wife of the late Clifford Hill, who died November 25, 1993.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Garrod and husband, William of Murphy; a son, John C. Hill Jr. and wife, Debbie of West Palm Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Nicole Hill, and Jim and Wendy Garrod; and two great grandchildren, Shannon and Shelby Garrod.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Tillman Funeral Home in West Palm Beach, FL with the Rev. Steve Ruegg officiating.  Interment was in Lake Worth Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, FL.
