In reflection of Karl’s love of poetry, the family would like to share one of Karl’s original poems written with regard to Karl’s outlook on life.
He gave us many wonders to share
As through life we go
Vast plains and beautiful valleys
And mountains laced with snow
Each day a new beginning
Each season a new face
Each trouble a solution
As our faith in Him we place
He gave us many wonders
To see, to feel, to do
As life must end sometime
It also starts anew
He gave us many wonders
As He looked down from above
But the greatest that He gave to man
Was the gift of love
Yes, His greatest gift is love.
We are so proud of the man who so strongly raised us and gave us the example of a man with dignity, kindness and selfless love.
Until we are together again Dad.... We love you so much.
